Some history:

Howard started working with computers at the age of 13 writting basic programs to do things like roll dice and calaulate averages. His formal career started in 1987 at the age of 22 after grauating with a certificate in computer programing from Computer Learning Center in Paramus NJ.

His first job was with a subsitiary of Squibb Pharmicutical processing online medical bills and claim forms. It was Howard's job to ensure that the doctors and hospitals that used Squibb's services to upload and download medical records were working and configured propertly. When Howard arrived to the position it took over 3 weeks for a claim form to be printed, processed, mailed and recevied by a paient. Howard evaluated the process and reduced the overall time to one week from printing to paient.

In 1989 Squibb sold the business to Medical Data Services and Howard moved to Richmond, VA. Where his rolls changed and he was focused on the hardware side of the business. Howard primary responsiblity was configuring communications devices. His primary responsibliy was to support doctor's offices process their electronic claim forms. Welcome to Black Rouge Technologies

Black Rouge Technologies was founded in February, 2008 to address the needs of extremely busy, highly successful professionals and Small Businesses. Although these executives are heavy users of Personal Computers, they often do not have on-site computer support staff that can address their issues and problems in a timely manner.

Even among those that have access to some remote or on-site IT resources, we’ve found the quality of support is not always adequate, due to recent downsizing, reorganizations, high turnover, poor morale or acute staffing shortages.

With deadlines looming, people place frantic calls to 800/900 numbers at premium prices, and often the technician in these cases may know even less about the problems than they do. People also do tasks manually or pull a slightly-more knowledgeable colleague away from their work for “just a minute.” Perhaps they appeal to someone’s 13-year-old computer “genius” or surf the Web for technical support sites in desperation.

Many small businesses and branch offices house less than fifty professionals. At this size, it is often cost prohibitive to hire even a junior-level computer support person. By combining 21 years of experience supporting PC/LAN and Email systems, Microsoft certified Professional, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator, reasonable rates, and flexible arrangements, Black Rouge Technologies offers a highly unique, excellent-value solution to even the smallest branch office.

Black Rouge Technologies can perform all but not limited to the following services.

  • Computer System Investigations and Audit
  • Seminars and Speaking engagements about: Computer Security, Email use, Computer Safe Employee Training.
  • Document Employee Computer Policies
  • IT and Business Process Management/Improvement
